- late halloween -

Here's something I started a few days before Halloween as fun piece that I could work on when I needed a breather from other projects (album covers, zines, ect).

About halfway through I realized it had become just as (if not more) stressful as my other projects so I let it sit for awhile. After a few days and numerous changes this is what happened. Not sure how I feel about this one.

- race to atlanta -

Here are some drawings that I made while in Atlanta with my friends from "The Immaculate Shark".

Adventures included a gas guzzling Suburban, nice weather, awkward Atlanta folk, sleeping on a hardwood floor, & various word games.

- my first drawing -

Thats right " It's a bird... It's a plane... It's SUPERMAN !!! "

My mom found my very first drawing that was actually of something (not scribbles or weird shapes). I was 3 years old when I cranked this out.

The spit curl (or "Supercurl" as my mother likes to call it.) is her favorite part.

- the immaculate shark -

Hot off the press. This guy will be used for The Immaculate Shark tour starting in October ! Venue info will be hand written in the small cloud for each date. I'm not sure who did the font, but if I find out I'll make sure to give credit.

-News Flash!!!- Sources tell me that Adam Smith is the font master. Drop him a line and let him know he does nice work.

If you're in the neighborhood when they play you should check them out and buy them drinks.

- atlas & chopsticks -

Here's some B&W's. It's nice to work with ink. Still trying to break the digital habit. Next maybe I'll work with paint. That would be something...

I'm working on a zine with Chris Cucci of Post Records that will include some sweet Sci-Fi. It's looking at a December or January release.

Here's the skinny. Write a story about either or both of these drawings. Keep them short and sweet. And the ones we like best will be in the first issue. Get in touch with me here or myspace.com/davidhoskinsart
