You can catch me on a Fuel TV Dew Tour Orlando thing. Along with other artists Dolla, Johanna O Donnell, and the good folks at Bold Hype.

- M @ Bold Hype -

The show was a real success ! Pics are up from the show on Bold Hype's Flickr. Let me say it was a pleasure working at the gallery and getting to hang out with all the artists. Probably one of the best weeks I can remember.
Here's what I had up. All three pieces sold in the first half hour.

Also, Bold Hype was nice enough to rush some shirts of my design to sell at the show. Available in Yellow and Pink. This gallery really gives it's all and spares no expense. Please hit up their web page and buy some shirts ! My hats off to Enemy Ink for doing such a nice job and getting them done so quick. Shown in the pic is my design along with Andrew Spear's.

- Happy Valley & The Great Deceivers -
Here are a few album covers for Sleepy Bird Orphanage.
First is the cover art for Happy Valley's "Mutanten". The back and disc art will be up on the web page once I get around to finally updating it. You can purchase it from Sleepy Bird Orphanage.
Second is a preview of the wrap around cover for The Great Deceivers "Psalms for the End Times".

- Getting Back -

As you all may or may not know I was just in India getting a tune up. "Why India" you say? Because I'm poor with really bad arthritis, a mound of debt, and no health coverage. Plus India is CHEAP. Two new elbows and a knee later and I'm getting back into the swing of things.
I have some album covers finished up and a few fun drawings that I'll post later.

- Grafuck 4 -
My last minute submission to Grafuck 4. I don't think it will get in based on the fact that the book is a horizontal format and this piece looks like balls when placed on it's side. Either way it was good fun.

P.S. Some may notice that the little guy in her hair is from one of my pieces from the "You Love to Hate" show. Pictures of the paintings and the show will be up soon, promise.

- You Love to Hate: The Preview -
Hey kids. Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been very busy with various art shows and other projects. Here are some pre-show pics from the "You Love to Hate" event that went down 4/12. It was crazy successful (despite being shut down by the police). I don't think I've seen so many people out for an art show in Orlando. I'll have some better pics of the pieces and of the actual show later.
Thanks to my buddy Dres13 for the pics.
Working.

- Goatman -
Here's my submission for BEASTS! volume 2 from the good people at Fantagraphics.
The Maryland Goatman has been a favorite monster and inside joke with some friends from way back. He likes to attack couples in parked cars with his hand axe and has been known to kill peoples pets.
Lets hope he makes the cut....

- late halloween -
Here's something I started a few days before Halloween as fun piece that I could work on when I needed a breather from other projects (album covers, zines, ect).
About halfway through I realized it had become just as (if not more) stressful as my other projects so I let it sit for awhile. After a few days and numerous changes this is what happened. Not sure how I feel about this one.

- the immaculate shark -
Hot off the press. This guy will be used for The Immaculate Shark tour starting in October ! Venue info will be hand written in the small cloud for each date. I'm not sure who did the font, but if I find out I'll make sure to give credit.
-News Flash!!!- Sources tell me that Adam Smith is the font master. Drop him a line and let him know he does nice work.
If you're in the neighborhood when they play you should check them out and buy them drinks.

- atlas & chopsticks -
Here's some B&W's. It's nice to work with ink. Still trying to break the digital habit. Next maybe I'll work with paint. That would be something...
I'm working on a zine with Chris Cucci of Post Records that will include some sweet Sci-Fi. It's looking at a December or January release.
Here's the skinny. Write a story about either or both of these drawings. Keep them short and sweet. And the ones we like best will be in the first issue. Get in touch with me here or myspace.com/davidhoskinsart
